On Jan. 30, Partners in Project Green was privileged to be on hand as XCG celebrated its 25th anniversary as one of Canada?s leading professional environmental service providers.
An expert team of more than 90 engineering professionals with six offices in Canada and the United States, XCG is committed to delivering innovative, practical and sustainable solutions in areas such as environmental site assessments, remediation and risk assessment, solid waste services, water and wastewater treatment, and municipal infrastructure management.

As part of the Partners in Project Green Water Stewardship Performance Committee and a member of the collective stormwater infrastructure project vendor network, XCG makes an invaluable contribution to the Pearson Eco-Business Zone community. Last year, for example, the company teamed up with other partners — Grounds Covered Landscaping, the Sustainable Technologies Evaluation Program (STEP) and Toronto and Region Conservation Authority ? to realize an ambitious stormwater infrastructure project for Scarborough-based green furniture manufacturer Calstone Inc. Other notable recent projects in XCG?s portfolio include: a detailed design for the Regional District of Nanaimo Landfill; a hydraulic analysis for the Humber Wastewater Treatment Plant; an evaluation of technology for natural organic material removal on behalf of the City of Brandon; Nexacor UST replacement and remediation in Etobicoke; and a flood remediation plan sewershed study for the City of Toronto.
