People Power Challenge Event:
Shoreline Cleanup

As part of the People Power Challenge, each month of the competition will feature an event related to that month’s theme. For September’s theme of water stewardship, we invite you to join us on Friday September 20 at Alfred Kuehne Park in Brampton.

Many items found on shorelines can harm ecosystems and plastic litter can breakdown into tiny pieces affecting wildlife and our drinking water. This site has been impacted by ongoing illegal dumping, litter and debris and your participation will help clean up and restore the shoreline.

Access to the location is by Advance Boulevard, east of Dixie Road (exact location details will be sent upon registration). Please arrive on time at 9:30 am to receive instructions, with the cleanup getting underway at 10:00 am. Please note – as part of the People Power Challenge, you can either register below or contact your organization’s Champion(s) for more details. Please note that while we welcome all of our members to attend, there are a number of spots set aside for People Power Challenge competitors. If you are interested in attending, please complete the registration via the form below and our team will be in touch.
