Bayer: Green Building

In 2007, Bayer built on its commitment to reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions by constructing a 6,000 square foot green roof at its Belfield Road facility. It was constructed with local landscaping company Gardens in the Sky and architect Whitney Bailey Associates. Benefits include: improving local air quality, reducing the roof’s temperature and helping control stormwater runoff.
