People Power Challenge – Waste Reduction is over!    |

Congratulations to all of the People Power Challenge Waste Reduction competitors – all of the participating companies put up a good fight, but in the end, there could only be one winner. To find out who, join Partners in Project Green at the Eco-Business Breakfast: Energy Management session on February 23. The Energy Management Eco-Business Breakfast will provide valuable information on ways to encourage energy conservation in your facility, focusing on operational changes that can be implemented with little capital outlay and highlighting ways to increase the ROI of your equipment retrofit energy projects. While everyone can't win the Waste Reduction top prize of $1,000 cash towards an employee suggested waste reduction project - or the bragging rights that comes along with winning - participating companies did gain valuable insights into how to reduce waste and increase diversion at their own facilities through employee suggestions. They also achieved employee engagement around waste reduction, along with earning points towards winning the Grand People Power Challenge prize at the end of the year long challenge.
