Hydro One Brampton launches new energy program with Sheridan College

Hydro One Brampton and Sheridan College introduced the Ontario Power Authority’s new Audit Funding Incentive program at the Magna-Plastcoat facility at 26 Kenview Blvd on Thursday, February 2nd. This event was attended and supported by Remy Fernandes, President and CEO, Hydro One Brampton, Jocelyn Piercy, Dean, Faculty of Applied Science and Technology, Sheridan College, and Marek Poplawski, General Manager, Magna Exteriors & Interiors – Plastcoat.

Kids in Nature Corporate Challenge close to reaching its target for local schools

The second year of the Kids in Nature Corporate Challenge is well underway and already the program has surpassed the reach of the program in 2011. Last year, 32 schools from priority neighborhoods surrounding the Pearson Eco-Business Zone were given the opportunity to experience the wonder of wildlife both within and outside of the classroom. In 2012, the goal is to reach 50 schools, and already local corporate leaders have stepped up to sponsor 34 of these schools!
