About the Purchasing Alliance
The Clinton Climate Initiative (CCI) Purchasing Alliance (PA) is one of the core programs available to businesses who work with the Clinton Climate Initiative and its partners such as Partners in Project Green. The PA works to accelerate the adoption of energy efficient products worldwide.

The PA negotiates reductions in the cost of energy saving technologies by leveraging the incremental sales opportunity our clients represent. In addition to price discounts on energy efficient technologies, PA core services include technical and product education, purchasing assistance, and project facilitation.

The PA encompasses a wide variety of mechanical and building envelope products. These technologies were selected primarily for their energy-saving and GHG reducing potential. Other factors include lack of representation in the market, applicability to retrofit projects, and the needs of CCI’s demand partners.

CCI PA discounts are viewed as price ceilings. CCI encourages competition between our supplier partners and other suppliers and provides a favourable price negotiation starting point to CCI’s clients that will result in their receiving the best pricing possible on energy saving technologies.
