Program Overview

Partners in Project Green’s Corporate Tree Planting Program offers companies and their employees the opportunity to help restore natural areas in the Pearson Eco-Business Zone.

These events can take place on either your organization’s property, or on public property, in the Pearson Eco-Business Zone and involve engaging your staff in tree and / or wildflower planting, nature walks and outdoor education.

There are two options to choose from:

Option 1 – Partners in Project Green Annual Earth Day / Fall Corporate Planting
Partners in Project Green hosts an annual Earth Day and fall Corporate Tree Planting Event that is open to all businesses and their staff in the Pearson Eco-Business Zone. This event is provided at no cost to businesses and we provide all the required materials (trees / shrubs, planting tools, training and refreshments), plus a marketing kit (that includes your logo) to promote the event to your staff.

Cost: Free (but sponsorships are welcome – and recognition provided).

Option 2 – Company Specific Planting Event
Our staff will customize a planting event for your organization. You choose your own date / time and we’ll provide the following:

• Planting site and site preparation
• Native plant material (trees, shrubs and wildflowers)
• All necessary tools, equipment and gloves for the day
• All necessary training and demonstrations
• Outdoor education activities

The cost to deliver these events range from:

• 15-30 people - $3,000
• 31 - 50 people - $4,000
• 50+ people - $5,000

ALL participants leave with a “Look After Where You Live” goodie bag with TRCA information, free passes and other special offers could include:

• Client can request special team-building activities
• Local “Black Creek Picnic Lunch” available for $13 each plus HST
