A new Environmental Reporting and Disclosure Bylaw (Municipal Code Chapter 423) requires businesses in Toronto to report on their use, manufacture and release of 25 priority toxic chemicals above specified levels. Partners in Project Green has partnered with the City of Toronto to help businesses prepare for the reporting bylaw and learn about ways to "green" their facilities. The ChemTRAC Technical Assistance Program will provide interested businesses in the City of Toronto with up to 2 visits, free of charge, with a trained program representative who will:
In May and June 2011 the ChemTRAC Technical Assistance Program will deliver a series of sector-specific hands-on workshops aimed at helping businesses prepare for the June 30th, 2011 reporting deadline. These workshops are available for the following sectors:
