Toronto has targeted an 80% reduction of our greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. It’s an ambitious target, and we're rising to the challenge. To reach our target we not only need to take big, bold steps as a local government, we also need every resident of Toronto to take action in their home and in their neighbourhood.

As a City we are doing our part too. We're taking action to continue to reduce our impact on the environment, but in order to become an international leader in urban sustainability the City must build new programs that bring together partners and resources in innovative, dynamic ways.

City of Toronto is committed to supporting Partners in Project Green as a Business Ambassador by continuing to support the environmental performance of our agencies and the businesses in our region, encouraging participation in Partners in Project Green, collaborating with others to improve the sustainability of the Pearson Eco-Business Zone.
