The business typology in the Pearson Eco-Business Zone is diverse and includes everything from service and accomodation operations, to the manufacturing and logistics sectors.  The largest sub-sectors are transportation and logistics, automotive supply chain, plastics and food processing.

Over 80 per cent of the businesses in Pearson Eco-Business Zone are small-to-medium enterprises with fewer than 500 employees. The distribution of employees can be found below:
