The Green Job Corp Team works to develop job opportunities for young people in the communities surrounding the Pearson Eco-Business Zone, and implement green job training and internship programs for post-secondary students from across the Greater Toronto Area.  Currently, the team has four projects underway:

• Cool Rexdale - a program to connect young people (18 to 29 years of age) in the Rexdale community to begin roofing apprenticeships to install green and cool roof technologies in Rexdale and the Pearson Eco-Business Zone.
• Energy Co-Op Program - this initiative works with post-secondary institutions to provide additional training and ongoing mentorship of co-op students on energy management opportunities when they work with Pearson Eco-Business Zone companies.
• Sustainable Business Plan Program - this initiative connects students from Seneca College's Green Business Management Program to companies in the Pearson Eco-Business Zone to help them develop corporate sustainability plans.
• ChemTRAC Student Placement Program - this initiative utilizes chemical engineering co-op students to help City of Toronto businesses report under the new community right-to-know by-law.
